WHAT IS WEECOS?

Weecos is an online sustainable marketplace for sustainable brands and their products. We want to help you in finding sustainable, high-quality products by gathering them in one place so that you don’t have to spend time finding out the brand’s sustainability. Weecos gathers several products from various brands under the same roof, and it is possible to buy from several brands at the same time.

As an online marketplace, the business model of Weecos works very differently compared to a traditional web store as there is no storage in Weecos. Each brand maintains its own Weecos-shop and sends the orders to the customers from their storages themselves. Weecos does not have a storage. Weecos is a platform uniting numerous shops, and this unique concept makes Weecos the pioneer of digital marketplaces.

The brands in Weecos share information considering the production and the products, for instance, as transparently as possible. All items in Weecos are made respecting people, animals and the planet.

Each brand in Weecos has passed our sustainability auditing, which is developed together with experts. The sustainability of the brand and the products are evaluated by the points of views of economic, social and environmental sustainability.

The survey is updated yearly. In the update of the latest version we have received help from the Finnish Textile and Fashion organization.

WHAT KIND OF PRODUCTS I CAN FIND FROM WEECOS?  

In Weecos, there are sustainable design brands from various countries. All items in Weecos are made respecting people, animals and the planet.

Each brand in Weecos has passed our sustainability auditing, which is developed together with experts. The sustainability of the brand and the products are evaluated by the points of views of economic, social and environmental sustainability. The brands in Weecos share information considering the production and the products, for instance, as transparently as possible.

The survey is updated yearly. In the update of the latest version we have received help from the Finnish Textile and Fashion organization.

ARE THERE MANY SHOPS WITHIN A MARKETPLACE

Yes, Weecos unites several brands and their shops as a marketplace. Each brand maintains its own Weecos-shop and sends the orders to the customers. Therefore, a purchase from Weecos is a purchase straight from the brand itself. Weecos does not have a storage and is not involved in the shipping process.

WHAT DOES SUSTAINABILITY MEAN IN WEECOS?

Each brand in Weecos has passed our sustainability auditing, which is developed together with experts right in the beginning of founding Weecos. The sustainability of the brand and the products are evaluated by the points of views of economic, social and environmental sustainability. In the survey, the brand opens and justifies, for instance, its material choices and the places of production. Further questions from the brand are asked if we find obscurities from the survey.

The survey is updated yearly. In the update of the latest version we have received help from the Finnish Textile and Fashion organization.

The brands also tell about their sustainability with our sustainability stamps, which can be seen in each product. Our stamps are, for instance, “recycled materials”, “organic”, “non-plastic” and “hand-made”. It is possible to filter the products according to these stamps, which means that you can shop according to your values. Get to know the stamps better here.

It is crucial to notice that sustainability is not a matter of black and white and the brand can be sustainable in many different ways. When evaluating a brand’s sustainability, the whole life cycle of the product, from raw material and designing to sales and consumption, must be taken into consideration. We also encourage the designers to share information considering the production, for instance, as transparently as possible. However, this does not mean that the brand must or even could know the original field of the raw material used, for example. Finding this information, in the enormously long and complicated supply chain, is almost impossible. Instead, the brand should explain why a certain material is used in its products. The right instructions for taking care of the product also increase significantly the product’s usability.

Weecos’s sustainability is not, however, limited only to products. We want to support carefully made purchases and be involved in influencing society. The small and medium-sized brands in Weecos are able to develop new operating models, such as reducing textile waste by pre-sales. The brands are also able to solve societal challenges, such as the circular and sharing economy. Sharing knowledge on materials and the price structure, for example, promotes transparency and helps customers to consider their own consumption habits. PLACING THE ORDER

 

WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT OPTIONS IN WEECOS?

When purchasing in Finland, you can pay your purchase via your online bank, MobilePay, credit card or an invoice. We also accept payments with Visa-, Visa Electron and MasterCard.

If you make the purchase abroad and you don’t have a Finnish online bank, MobilePay, Masterpass, Pivo or Siirto, the purchase can be paid via credit card.

 

COLLECTOR INVOICE

The invoice of your purchase is sent by Collector Bank. The invoice is sent via mail. You receive the mail around half of the next month after purchase, and the due date is at the end of the month. For instance, if the order is made in January, the invoice to your mail is sent in February.

If you decide to pay with an invoice, Collector Bank’s additional fee is 2,95€ per invoice.

Please notice that we cannot cancel Collector’s invoices. If you have chosen the Collector invoice and return the order, the invoice must be paid, and the amount of money is returned to your bank account. We cannot cancel Collector Bank’s additional fee (2,95 €) although you return all the products, and the additional fee is not returned to your account either. No items can be added to the invoice after you have received the order confirmation.

WHAT IS THE INVOICE’S ADDITIONAL FEE?

Collector Bank’s additional fee is 2,95€ per invoice.

We cannot cancel Collector Bank’s additional fee is although you return all the products, and the additional fee is not returned to your account. No items can be added to the invoice after you have received the order confirmation.

I HAVEN’T RECEIVED THE ORDER CONFIRMATION. WHAT DO I DO? 

No worries! Sometimes it takes a while before the order confirmation comes to your email. Please, also check your email’s junk mail/spam.

If you don’t receive the order confirmation within an hour and you can’t find it from your junk mail, please contact our customer service info@weecos.com, and we help you as soon as possible!

I WROTE MY CONTACT INFORMATION WRONG? HOW CAN I FIX THEM?

You can contact the brand you made the order from via email and correct the contact information or you can contact our customer service info@weecos.com. The brand’s email address can be found from the front page of its Weecos-shop from the tab ‘Info’. 

 

HOW CAN THE DISCOUNT CODE BE USED?

The discount code is added in the shopping cart after adding your delivery address. Please, place the code to the empty section Coupons and gift cards and then press ‘ADD’.  After this, the code is activated for the order.

 

 

THE ORDER’S DELIVERY

 

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DELIVERY?

Each brand maintains its own Weecos-shop and sends the orders for the customers. There are no extra hand or storages between, and the purchase is made straight from the brand itself.

If your order has several products from several brands, you receive more than one packages.

 

 

WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING FEES AND DELIVERY TIME?

As the brands send the orders, they also define the shipping fees and delivery times themselves. Therefore, the shipping fees and delivery times in Weecos may vary.

You can find the information on the shipping fees and delivery times from the ‘Shipping’ tab. If you have any questions about the delivery, please contact the brand.

 

WHERE ARE PRODUCTS DELIVERED?

Products are per se shipped worldwide. However, each brand defines separately where they send products. Therefore, shipping can vary between brands.

IF I BUY DESIGNS FROM SEVERAL BRANDS, DO I PAY SEVERAL SHIPPING FEES?

Yes, that is possible. As the brands send the orders themselves, they also define the shipping fees themselves. Please, check the shipping fee from the product card’s ‘Shipping’ tab.

 

CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER BEFORE SHIPPING?

You can cancel the order before it is sent to you. In this case, please contact the brand, you have ordered products from, as soon as possible. The brand’s email address can be found from the front page of its Weecos-shop from the tab ‘Info’. 

Then fill in the return and change form of Weecos. The brand makes the refund after filling the form. From the form, the brand gets your account number. Please notice, that the account number must always be in the form as the brand makes the refund always to your account.

If you have returned products and chosen a Collector-invoice as your payment method, the invoice must be paid entirely. We cannot cancel the invoice or the additional fee from the invoice although the products are returned. The additional fee of Collector Bank cannot be returned.
If you want to change your order before it is shipped, please contact the brand, which from you have ordered. The order cannot be cancelled and products cannot be added but it might be possible to change the size, for instance, afterwards. The brand’s email address can be found from the front page of its Weecos-shop from the tab ‘Info’. 

 

RETURNS, EXCHANGES AND RECLAMATION OF THE PRODUCT

 

HOW DO I RETURN A PRODUCT?

We wish that you fall in love with the products ordered from Weecos! However, if the product is not what you expected, you have the right to return the product within 14 days after receiving the product. 

There is no right to return the product if it has been customized or made from order just for you. Fabrics that have been cut according to your wish cannot be returned either. The product must be unused, re-sellable and in its original package.

When returning the product, please fill in first the Weecos return form. After you have sent the return form, you can send the product back to the brand. The address of the brand can be found on the order confirmation form. Please, include your name and the order number in the return package.

The customer is responsible for the return's shipping fees. Except if you make a reclamation.

The brand compensates the product's price to your account after the brand has received the product and checked its quality. When you return the whole order from one brand, you get a refund from the brand's original postage.

The refund is always made to the bank account you have written to the return form. The refund cannot be made to the Collector invoice. If you have chosen a Collector-invoice as your payment method, the invoice must be paid entirely.

Please notice that not picking up the package from Posti is not accepted as a return. A refund cannot be done if you haven’t filled in the return form first.

The brand might have a return code. Please contact the brand to find this our if it is not included in your package.

 

IF I RETURN A PRODUCT, DO I STILL PAY THE INVOICE?

Yes. Unfortunately, we cannot cancel the Collector invoice. If you return an order and you have chosen the invoice as the payment method, you must pay the invoice entirely, and the refund is made to the bank account you inform in the return form.

We cannot cancel Collector Bank’s additional fee (2,95 €) although you return all the products, and the additional fee is not returned back to your account either. No items can be added to the invoice after you have received the order confirmation.

WHERE FROM I CAN FIND THE RETURN AND EXCHANGE FORM?

IS THE PAYMENT ALWAYS RETURNED TO MY BANK ACCOUNT?

Yes. The refund is always made to the bank account you have written to the return and change form. The refund cannot be made to any other payment options than the bank account. Therefore, if you have chosen Collector-invoice, it must be paid entirely when the invoice comes to your mail.

 

HOW DO I EXCHANGE A PRODUCT?

You have the right to exchange the product within 14 days after receiving the product. The customer is responsible for the exchange's shipping fees unless the brand has defined them otherwise. If you want to exchange the product, please contact the brand. The brand’s email address can be found from the front page of its Weecos-shop from the tab ‘Info’. 

In order to sell the product also after it is returned, the product must be unused, in re-sellable condition and its original package.

There is no right to change the product if it has been customized or made from order just for you. Fabrics that have been cut according to your wish cannot be returned either.

 

HOW DO I RECLAMATE A PRODUCT?

If you want to reclamate the product, please contact the brand. The brand’s email address can be found from the front page of its Weecos-shop from the tab ‘Info’.

If you want to cancel the order before it is sent to you, please contact the brand, you have ordered products from, as soon as possible so that the product is not sent to you. The brand’s email address can be found from the front page of its Weecos-shop from the tab ‘Info’. 

After this, please fill in the return and change form here so that the brand can make a refund for you. Please fill in the form also when you have chosen the Collector-invoice as a payment method.
